July POPS Concert

POPS CONCERT 2013

Date: Saturday, July 13th, 2013

Time: 3:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
Location: LA County Arboretum

It's the time of the year again.. The annual POPS concert! Come by to greet friendly guests, manning tables, carrying picnic baskets, distributing programs, collecting tickets, managing lines, doing general cleanup, and catching up with other members while listening to various Michael Feinstein music! *A light supper and some ice cream will be provided for you during the concert!

Attire: White collared shirt, appropriate black pants, and comfortable shoes (This service will be outdoors!)

Please sign up as soon as possible. We need the numbers by Thursday night. See you all there!

SUMMER CAR WASHES

Date: Sunday, July 7 and Saturday, July 27

Time: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (Shift 1)

           1 p.m.-4 p.m. (Shift 2)

Location: 1900 S. San Gabriel Blvd, San Gabriel, CA

Come and help out your favorite club and catch up with your friends at the same time! All hours from these two days will count towards the first semester and proceeds towards stoles. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and service. Jobs will include soaping, wiping, washing, and sign-twirling.

Come by to help in your first summer NHS service.  Your duties will include helping seat donors, directing people on where to go, and other on-the-spot jobs. Meet up at the 605 building on the second floor. This service will be led by Michelle Zhou and Annie Huang, who both proudly brought us this service.

It's the last service of the year, Graduation. Come and help out as you get to see your lovely seniors make a big step in heading into their future. The first job consists of directing parents and visitors to park in designated locations. The second job consists of making sure spectators squeeze in when at the bleachers so everyone can fit. (Yes, these will count toward your 2nd semester hours.)
