It's another E-waste! Have a hard time going to faraway services? Don't worry about it, come and have fun sorting out worn-out electronics, greeting people, and meeting new people. 

*If you (or even friends or family) have any worn-out electronics, it'd be fabulous if you'd donate. (NO REFRIGERATORS, WASHERS, OR DRYERS)

Attire: NO SANDALS. (I wore sandals to an E-waste before, and it was totally not pretty. We want you to be safe, so please wear close-toed shoes.) Also, wear comfortable clothing for the weather.

NHS Gear

Hi everyone! For everyone who hasn't seen yet, this year's gear designs are below.

Please talk to a cabinet member at an NHS meeting if you are interested in purchasing gear. T-shirts cost $5 and windbreakers cost $35. As of now, sales will continue until February 7th.

Los Angeles Food Bank 

Date: Saturday, Febraury 15, 2014

Hello folks! NHS presents you with a fantastic food bank service. If you are bored and ready to get active, this is the service for you. The food bank is a great way to give back to your local Los Angeles community, especially around the holiday season when no one should be hungry.  The food you will package and organize will help low income seniors, women with infants, and children. "By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community."

PARKING IS LIMITED

Attire: All that is required is that you bring close-toed shoes. Make sure to bring comfortable close because you will be moving.

Lunar New Year Festivities

Asian American Expo

Come celebrate the Lunar New Year festival, watch children grasp onto toys and lucky envelopes, and watch adults and children jump off their seats during the provided performances! You'll be setting up performances, giving out goodie bags and show guides, assisting staff and coordinators, and just many more!

February Car Wash

Help NHS raise money for banquet and next school year at the first car wash of the new year! We will be outside, so dress appropriately whether that be rain or shine. Not only will you be having fun with your friends, but you will also be helping your club raise make money to make this year the best!

MLK Jr. Day (Which is factually January 20th), the global holiday across the country, helps assemble each and every one of us to become stronger and to restore relations for a better community. More than 1000 community and corporate volunteers will invigorate the campus of Hillcrest Drive Elementary, so come and help commemorate the day with purity, and particularly nobility.

Attire: You will be embellishing the school campus, so wear closed toed shoes!
