City of Alhambra Blood Drive

2013 SG Registraions

SAN GABRIEL REGISTRATIONS
Date: JULY 31ST, 2013 (TRAINING IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE FROM 3:00-3:15 PM)
          August 1st- August 2nd, 2013
          August 5th- August 9th, 2013
Time: **Aug. 7th-8th- 7:00 AM-11:30 AM and 1:00 PM-3:00 PM (Break from 11:30 AM-12:50 PM)
          The remaining days are from 7:00 AM-11:30 AM
Location: San Gabriel High School 
Officers: August 1st (Jenny, Steven, Teresa) 

High school registrations are around the corner. Please attend the Training to acquire useful information. (However, attending the practice will not count as hours) On the official registration day, make sure to arrive promptly at 7:00 AM in the Guidance Office to help set up and to fulfill all of Ms. Perla's requests (and many other coordinators' requests). *Those who are volunteering on August 7th and August 8th, please pack a satiating meal since you have around an hour to relax! Thank you for your cooperation.

August POPS Concert

POPS CONCERT 2013
Date: Saturday, August 10th, 2013
Time: 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
Location: LA County Arboretum
(301 N Baldwin Avenue Arcadia, CA 91007)
(*Extremely close to Santa Anita Mall)
Officers: 

 The POPS concert is here AGAIN! Another overnight sensation! Come by to greet friendly guests, carrying picnic baskets, distributing programs, collecting tickets, managing lines, doing general cleanup, and catching up with other members while listening to live Beatles music! 
Snacks: TBA 
Attire: White collared shirt, appropriate black pants, and comfortable shoes. Also, please bring a flashlight.

MoMa Freshman Summit

Come out and use your talents to help MoMa and your incoming freshmen. In this short service you will be helping with sign-ins, and with guiding freshmen or their parents. You may be required to stay a bit longer. Come out to see the future of America. Thanks!

Attire: Casual and comfortable clothes. Preferably something SG related.

Hello folks! NHS presents you with a fantastic summer food bank service. If you are bored and ready to get active, this is the service for you. The food bank is a great way to give back to your local Los Angeles community. The food you will package and organize will help low income seniors, women with infants, and children. "By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community."

PARKING IS LIMITED

Attire: All that is required is that you bring close-toed shoes. Make sure to bring comfortable close because you will be moving.

     It's the time of the year again.. The annual POPS concert! Come by to greet friendly guests, manning tables, carrying picnic baskets, distributing programs, collecting tickets, managing lines, doing general cleanup, and catching up with other members while listening to various Michael Feinstein music! *A light supper and some ice cream will be provided for you during the concert!

     Attire: White collared shirt, appropriate black pants, and comfortable shoes (This service will be outdoors!)
    Please sign up as soon as possible. We need the numbers by Thursday night. See you all there!
